Applying for a Temporary Residence Permit

In some cases, after getting your work permit, you'll need to apply for a temporary residence permit. You must submit this application in person at a Slovak embassy in your home country. In certain situations, you might be able to apply at the Foreign Police Department in Slovakia.

The application fee is EUR 165.50 if you apply in Slovakia or EUR 170 if you apply at a Slovak embassy.
